Virtual City Instructions
Submission:
Teams are to submit the following two (2) items to ohiofuturecity@gmail.com
1. Virtual City Benchmark Form, in either a Word Document or PDF
2. Virtual City
Please note: The school name and Future City name MUST appear at the top of the Virtual City Benchmark Form
Item 1: Virtual City Benchmark Form:
Fill out the Virtual City Benchmark Form (attached) and email with Virtual City.
Item 2: Virtual City:
Students must use the pre-designed medium region. The pre-designed medium region must be started fresh each year. Teams are not allowed to use a previous year’s Virtual City design as their base city.
Select a meaningful and unique name for your city. The city name will go on all the forms and files you submit to the Regional Coordinator and cannot change during the course of the program.
Make sure the city has progressed at least 150 years into the future and has a population of at least 50,000.
SimCity Cheat Codes are not allowed.

Deadline:
All items are to be emailed to ohiofuturecity@gmail.com by December 9, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. without deductions. Late submissions will be accepted with deductions. (Deduction is 5 points.) Late items must be emailed by December 14, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. Anything received after December 14 will not be accepted.
