Our city is truly a utopia on earth. We are located on the Western African coast perched between a steep mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. In this year, 2165, our population is 476,924. Over the past century, due to global warming and the rising ocean levels, most of the low flat coastal lands are now under water and our city thus has minimal land. Approximately half of the city is built on a platform extending over the ocean waters supported by carbon titanium composite pillars. |

Qubitersum |
In the year 2288, the world feared the unknown effects of nanotechnology. The greatest scientific minds met to devise a way to alleviate those fears. They decided to take all of the projects dealing with nanotechnology to a remote part of Australia’s Simpson Desert. A research center rose from the sand. Around the research center, a city started to form. By the year 2360, Qubitersum had become the nano-center of the world. Now, in the year 2538, nanotechnology has become a part of daily life. |

TréPicolé Dinana |
TréPicolé Dinana, like other modern cities of the world, felt the severe financial downturn from the increased oil prices during the early twenty-first century. In order to rebound from such tremendous losses, our citizens decided to invest in nanotechnology to solve the island’s energy and financial crisis. Scientists developed carbon nanotubes, which were combined with liquids. Chemically engineered paint, as an inexpensive coating, became a simple solar collector for our buildings and structures. |

Shantihari |
The name of our city, Shantihari, is a combination of two words in Hindi, which mean “peace” and “green.” From the very beginning, quality in both the areas of the environment and service has been our goal. As our city was designed, we frequently placed a block of four components consisting of a school, a college, a museum, and a library to maximize learning for all of our citizens. Our Rescue Triad of police, fire, and medical services provides another important service. Located together in a building triplex, it is possible for all three of these services to be on the scene within minutes. In addition, every neighborhood now has access to the Hover Bubble Program. |

Terra di Acqua |
In the year 2212, much of Italy was thrust into a spiraling period of chaos after the massive and devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Their thriving civilization crushed, a small band of Pompeian refugees fled the continent in search of a new start and a safe place to resurrect their practice of Aquology – the philosophy based on the premise that water is the purest of all things. Hence, the purity of their bodies and souls depended entirely upon the purity of the water they drank. |
